Petrel Pause Lifted as of April 28, 2021
The Petrel Pause for Petrels Authorized for Campus Access (PACAs) is now lifted effective immediately, and the COVID-19 Task Force is happy to report that cases have now stabilized. As of today, there are only three active cases among campus residents and no known active cases among commuters.
Campus residents may now rejoin their Petrel Pods, and in-person dining with appropriate distance will resume.
- PACAs must continue to check in daily on the LifeguardRx app to log any potential symptoms of COVID-19.
- PACAs are also required to participate in COVID-19 surveillance testing if notified by email@example.com.
- PACAs must continue to abide by the policies in the COVID-19 Handbook, and violations may result in students being removed from campus for the remainder of the academic year.
Thank you, PACAs, for adhering to the measures in place over the last two weeks. Your efforts have helped us successfully navigate the brief increase in cases among the PACA community. Please continue to be vigilant in practicing the Petrel Pledge and latest public health guidelines, and let’s finish the semester strong!
